18 Sep 2017 - Management Committee meeting at 6pm at Richard Attenborough Centre, Leicester
PROJECT UPDATES and NEWS:
Nicaragua Now - news and stories from and about Nicaragua
Generous donation of £1000 from Southern Housing Group for projects in Masaya.
Locally, the programme is co-ordinated by an Expert Centre School (EC) that recruits up to 16 Partner Schools. Schools that have signed up to an EC have access to £500 worth of e-credits to be spent on Continuing Professional Development.
The LMLG, in collaboration with other local providers, has put together a flexible package of training which invites participants to explore overarching themes such as ‘Values’ alongside a subject based approach so that teachers with specific curriculum responsibilities can share ideas and build their confidence to identify where global perspectives enrich their subject area and vice versa.
