Sculpted Poems

Sculpted Poems from Here for There Following on from a project initiated in 2003, the LMLG worked with young people at the Contact Project, a community poet and a local sculptor using Leicester’s link with Nicaragua to inspire and share ideas about local identity and global diversity.

The workshops culminated in a performance and an exhibition presented as part of an annual literature festival organised by Leicester City Libraries to celebrate creativity and imagination.
